In another dog bites man type story, a Republi-con politician lies to get elected.
First he "claimed time and time again [during the campaign] that he wouldn't cut school spending," then after he was elected he "unveiled a budget that proposed more than $3 billion worth of cuts to Florida schools."
Read the St. Petersburg Times, Gov. Rick Scott revises rhetoric on education funding and the Orlando Sentinel, If you overlook the lies, Scott's budget is interesting, which notes that "not everyone views the truth as that big of a deal."
